…well maybe not quite. We’ll always be Coloradans at heart. We’ve officially arrived in Houston, and we’re having a lot of fun exploring the city. We both start work tomorrow so we’re trying to make it feel like we’re not on vacation, but the weather is making that hard.
We’re living in a nice apartment for now, until our house is ready in March. It’s very urban-modern - something we’re both not familiar with, but it’s very comfortable.
Since work starts tomorrow, that means we can start looking for an OB-GYN in the area, we have another ultrasound coming up soon. Any recommendations for good doctors in the Houston area? I hear that the women’s center is rather good. Wish us luck for now!

It’s such a nasty stereotype that girls don’t like to play video games. I think a more appropriate statement is that girls are just pickier about their video games, but they’ll play the ones they love. My wife and I have been playing that Call of Duty Black Ops zombie game together and have been having a lot of fun with it.
I believe that couples who play games together stay together. Perhaps this is a generational thing. Video games allow couples to work together as a team: especially games that allow cooperative play. Games also invoke communication and discussing compromises. So, video games are not just for guys (or just for girls either).
Of course, if he or she just won’t budge on video games, there’s always monopoly.
